The Pots
Our functional pots are inspired by Asian, African, English, European, and early American pottery.
Our work is created with food and flowers in mind, and the durable stoneware clay we use ensures that our pots are sturdy enough for everyday enjoyment. We use a variety of hand-processed local materials, including wood ash from our fireplace, corn ash, and limestone and and red clay from a local quarry to create surfaces that emerge from our wood firings with distinctive character and depth.

Ray Hamilton Woodworking
We are pleased to carry Iowa artist Ray Hamilton's distinctive lathe-turned wooden bowls and vases in the Windy Ridge Gallery. With an eye for rich colors, full shapes, and unique grain patterns, Ray transforms salvaged hardwoods into exquisite bowls and vases. His work is finished with linseed oil and hand-brushed polyurethane for a durable, food-safe finish.
